Collaborative Leadership
Leadership development is at the core of our organization. We believe that dynamic and thoughtful leadership is essential for the success of any organization or community. We specialize in leadership that is inclusive, facilitative and collaborative. Our emphasis is on ethical leadership, one of the hardest and most rewarding forms of governance.
We strive for equity in everything that we do and in every project we undertake. We have over 20 years of specialized experience working toward equity across race, gender, sexual orientation and socio-economic status. We examine and analyze the impact of equity in philanthropy, systems development, government services and organizational policy.
We develop and deliver curricula focussed on dialogue for racial equity and cross-cultural communication. We offer courses on leadership and civic engagement for social change agents. Our curricula also include interactive trainings for social justice, comprehensive modules for medical professionals and workshops on cultural competency in prison systems.
We specialize in bringing unrepresented voices and marginalized perspectives to the fore. We do this through active outreach and thoughtful stakeholder mapping. Using constructive debate and value-added engagement, we celebrate, highlight and leverage unique perspectives and nuanced cultural influences.
We focus on sustainability and long-term impact across a broad spectrum of mission-driven work. The context could be a resource-scarce community coalition, an established health system, an international education forum or a governmental initiative. The Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations influence our work.
Our social justice projects include disease surveillance, public health, access to healthcare; rural development, education reform, refugee resettlement; cultural preservation, intercultural dialogue; restorative justice, disproportionate minority contact in the criminal justice systems and community development through civic arts.
